The HD4000 is more than adequate for gaming with medium settings (I have a 7950GT too, the HD4000 is far more powerful), I suspect that something is wrong with the drivers. The only display bug I've seen so far that's actually caused by AC3D and not bad drivers is the mouse wheel zoom thing.
Dennis, does the card have some sort of AA forced on?
