Checkerboard Texture
If I bring 'meshes' (made from the plane) into any other programs, I'm constantly getting the checkerboard texture even if I change the texture.
What am I missing, please? |

Re: Checkerboard Texture
As a matter of fact, I can't get rid of the checkerboard pattern even if I assign a new texture inside AC3D...

Re: Checkerboard Texture
Thanks for the reply Andy.
If you mean: (Object / Texture / Load Texture) then yes, I've changed that. I'm unfamiliar with any other method for changing materials. |

Re: Checkerboard Texture
Bottom left hand corner of the main modelling screen is a materials bar, the one with all the colours on it. Select your object, and then select one colour from there, and all should be well again.

Re: Checkerboard Texture
Perfect! Thanks, Tonka. Wish I could +1Rep or something, but I suppose we'll have to make due with sincere gratitude.
