One AC3D object into a different AC3D drawing
I have, say an electric drill as a AC3D drawing (Finished and Saved) then I develop an entirely new drawing (Say one with a workbench) I want to bring that drill into this new drawing (Workbench) and place it on top the workbench. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? That is get the drill into this new drawing, meaning only getting onto the views or drawing, not how to put it on the bench, that I can do..
I have achevied this but it takes a quite a few steps to get it done. The reason for this question is many times I use the exact same object again and again and I keep a seperate file with these "standard" items ready for use in other drawings. :?: |

You can import an AC3D file just like any other supported file. if you just want part of the model, select it and use File > "Save Selected as".
