Problems with "Hierarchy View" and reordering objects/groups
Hello
I'm using 7.0.11 I'm working an a helicopter model (Flightgear Eurocopter EC130 ) with about 180 objects and 30000 vertices. Problem: I always use "Hierarchy View" to find my way to where I need to work, use it to select features and then lock everything I don't need at the time. If I then create some new objects, cut away from existing, ... and then try to reorder the objects/groups in the "Hierarchy View" I get all kinds of problems with mixed up objects. It seems the combination of selected and locked objects/groups and the action of reordering looses reference to the picked object. Sometimes it works, sometimes other objects are moved, one time an object ended up in a group where it should have gone to. Took me quite a while to find it ... What I do right now is: Before reordering objects I save the model, start AC3D new and do the reordering directly after startup. That works. Maybe this could be fixed :-) Thanks for listening mhab |
