is there a key to unselect only a specific surface?
i understand that pressing shift while selecting surfaces allows new surfaces i click on to be added to the currently selected surfaces, but if i have a surface i want to deselect without deselecting all the other currently selected surfaces is there a key for that?
thanks |

Hold shift and click MMB (midlle mouse button).
This is how I do it. In my computer, I do not know yours.... Maybe the same. I believe, the RMB also works... never tried. (I'm sorry if I misunderstand the question... Remember to uncheck the "SELECT THROUGH" feature. Regards Fabrizio Last edited by fabrizio fracaroli; 2nd June 2014 at 11:08 AM. |

Re: is there a key to unselect only a specific surface?
Isn't that just the RMB (with Shift held down)? Going from "muscle memory" here, and without access to the program.
It may also be a "toggle"; e.g., if you "select" a surface that's already *been* selected, it deselects. Don't quote me on any of this... but the answer is a pretty logical one. Experimenting for less than 30 seconds should provide your answer.
