I'm just doing a basic wine glass type thing, from reading the manual. Then trying to add a glass material to it.
Here's what I ended up with I don't know why its showing up so small, I had to scale it down to 640x480, so it should be bigger than that. Maybe its just because it doesn't have a background, is there a way to render a background behind it? ![]() |

Ok, I dont use pov-ray, but maybe someone else using it know what you need to do.

what do you use to render? I'm still new, so I don't have a bias towards any particular program yet.
I'm basically shopping around to find what I want to use. I love your textured scenes of the ships flying ![]() |

I use Bryce5.5 or Carrara. Those threads have links to the free version of Bryce and a very nice render engine called Kerkhytea
