Re: woman WIP / first 3d model
thx for the compliment! nope, i never made anything else, a co-worker told me about 3d modeling he was doing at home and i thought that could be fun to do, so i looked online and found AC3D and downloaded it. i have been using a tutorial for 3d studio max to learn how to model a human like character, so i had to figure out what was meant with certain commands at times, but other than that it worked out pretty good. i took me quite a while though i must say, right now i'm working on the textures which is giving me quite some headaches...lol

She needs hair, else she looks like that one bald woman from the first star trek movie (but played by the vulcan from the Enterprise series. )

Re: woman WIP / first 3d model
thx drakelot, and cynic i haven't seen that but my wife did and she laughed and said you were right so here's an update with some textures and hair. i don't want to offend anyone so that's why there's black rectangles in strategic places... i did the textures with photoshop and rendered with pov-ray.
