Re: How to bend or taper or twist an object
You need to select vertices and move or roate them.
Subdivisions help make bendy surfaces very easily.e.g. extrude a rectangle a few times, make it subdivided, then move some of the 'sections'. Andy |

Re: How to bend or taper or twist an object
I think what he meant was to select a portion of the model and add a bend, think of a flower stem leaning over because of a heavy flower on top. Twist as in taking a pole and adding a twist so it curls like a spiral stairway and etc. and so on.
I have gotten these effects but selecting vertices and rotating them, I don't know another way to do it that would be easier. It was what I was asking in my original post but I did not know how to say it then. OK, I just could not remember it at the time, revolve is one way but I'm not that good with it yet. Edit: REplicator is the tool you want although you'll have to learn to use it  |
