Re: TCE problem (i think)
Your UV map has only the edges on it... the top and bottom of your sole are squished into a straight line on the map. (If you select just the faces while you're in the TCE, you'll see what I mean.)

Re: TCE problem (i think)
Tnx for ur answer. Yes i see it. I start with a simple box and make the uv map from that box. Later i make the other changes, bend and rounded the heel and toe. That's not the way lol but i can't figure out how to make a perfect or nearly perfect uv map.
I know the solution by using a sculpty-subcube, but i would really like to make my own. Can u recommend a tutorial that can bring me closer to my goal ? |

Re: TCE problem (i think)
I'd probably start with the texture editor tutorials... that seems like the trickiest part for most people to get their head around. There are a couple of tutorials/videos here:
http://www.inivis.com/ac3d/tutorials/carbody/index.html http://www.inivis.com/ac3d/tutorials...mall2.swf.html http://www.inivis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5027 Once you get the hang of the TCE in general, try looking here: http://www.independentdeveloper.com/...rom_existing_3 |
