Default Panel Regions XP12

I'm trying to edit an existing object with a panel region that I created for XP11 and works fine - unedited - in both XP11 and XP12. I want to modify the object to use in an improved XP12 version of the aircraft.

I'm using the latest versions of ACD and its XP plugin for XP12.

When I open the ac3d file and then try to export it again with no changes as an XP 8 object, I get a warning that "there is an object with no texture assigned". The file is written, but the panel region elements of the exported object aren't written and the object threrefore doesnt include the panel region when viewed in X-Plane.

I'm stuck. Any idea how I can slove this please?

Default Re: Panel Regions XP12

Ah. Sorted my own problem. I got confused with "only one texture per object". The panel object can and does need an additional texture assigned to act as the panel region texture. That texture needs to be the one in:
