Wildcard in Object Select
I may have missed it, as a new user, but would it be possible to select objects by part of their name? For example from Furniture_Chair_Comfy, Furniture_Chair_Dining and Furniture_Table different collections of items could be selected by selecting Furniture* or *Chair* or *Table.
The other thought would be to provide a 'Case sensitive ON/OFF' toggle. Mike Sapsard |

Re: Wildcard in Object Select
Thanks - that works well if you have a simple hierarchy, but it does not work so well in (for example) a structure that is house/rooms/furniture/chairs/chair 1,2 ,3 ...
In this case to select all chairs I have to go to each group of chairs separately. On the other hand, most people prefer shallow wide filing systems to deep narrow ones. |
