Wineglass as sculpty for SL
Hi,
Nooby is not the word to describe me I followed anything, which was posted about the wineglass including written and video. As follows: 1) Picked "1 object" 2) Picked "Line" 3) Draw "wineglas" left side only. 4) Revolve around "Y", 360 degrees and 24 Segments 5) Open TCE 6) Open UV Map 7) Wrap around "Y", Shape Mapping "Cylindrical, 360 Degrees3 8) Close both 9) Export to SL "Second Life Sculpted Prim" 10) In SL, Upload *.tga, Object set to "sculpty" and "Cylinder" Result "half of bowl" is "missing" except when I rotate it shows up, but from the side and top it appears to be missing. What did I do wrong? Did I miss a step? Please let me know. Thanks. anca13 |

Re: Wineglass as sculpty for SL
Hmm... check the direction of your surface normals. SL culls any surfaces that face away from the camera. There's also an invert button inside SL, I believe... you could use that to invert the normals to see if that's the problem without re-uploading.
