Still a major work in progress. Built just because we can and its also a huge challenge. I have uploaded to Second Life and very happy with how it has progressed. With most of the interior done just a little bit of a push more to complete the task. Already Looks like a jewel.
The actual real life vertion The rest below are the AC3D model 32223225[/ATTACH Will post more as the work continues. |

Re: Bertram Fishing yacht
Clay,
All your models look pretty awesome! What do you consider low poly for something like this? Hundreds? Thousands? Ten Thousands? A quick tutorial on your workflow would be cool. Thanks, jentRon |

Re: Bertram Fishing yacht
Beautiful work, I model for Open Simulator and Unity3d. On your texturing are you texturing each as an individual object or laying out a UV map? You are using minimal textures which is great for optimization.

Re: Bertram Fishing yacht
Thanks. I load each texture to each object. As the build progresses I combine all the textures I have been working with onto one texture sheet. Sometimes I'll even start with another texture I have previously made it the model is going to use a lot of the same textures. For examle a motor. Ill post a picture of that soon. I dont think its the norm for textureing but for me it work. lol
