Re: Fokker E.III
Some cockpit details.
. . . Pipes need to be extended and connected. Fuel and air selectors need labels.

Re: Fokker E.III
Looking great, again. It also shows how little they knew of aerodynamics back then haha (I'm an Aerospace Engineering major, so seeing all the structural details is really neat)

Re: Fokker E.III
More progress on the tailplane and the main fuel tank.
. . . . The red lines are where the bracing wires will go.

Re: Fokker E.III
For the next update, the side panel, with all its curves and elements, just as hard to make in 3D as real life.
. Work continues.

Re: Fokker E.III
She needed a nice LMG08 model, so here it is:
A few texture fixes needed, but close to finished so it can be fitted to the E.III.

Re: Fokker E.III
The aircraft is nearing completion, but she is now going into a flight simulator.
So some parts have had ply reductions, the wings are all new. I have to complete the rigging and a few minor details, then she can be worked up to go into the sim.

Re: Fokker E.III
looks great! Now that it's 'covered', have you removed the lovely internal structure that you made to save on polys?
