Oops yes, not front. Left or right would give a better mapping for each side in that case.

To re-use X-plane fuselage textures originally created for Planemaker geometry your best bet is to map from the left side. It won't be easy though since those textures are often heavily tweaked to match Planemakers low-res mesh.
I think it would be best to completely repaint the fuselage based on an unwrap of both sides of the fuselage. peter
