Re: Mass Effect: Normandy SR2
Funny you should say that, because I've searched for the keyword "texture" and haven't found stuff that useful.
Still, having played with texturing on my models, my knowledge is sorrily lacking. I think I'm out of my league when it comes to anything outside of programming. I'm finding I'm getting really slowed down on developing my game. Last edited by Cynic; 19th April 2012 at 10:44 AM. |

Yea. Texturing can be a pain in the butt sometimes.
Insignia is cut out and I have tried some colors. Never was all that keen on the Cerberus colors.

Re: Mass Effect: Normandy SR2
So, doing textures and uv mapping suck big time. But it looks kinda OK. What do you think? The background was made using different sections of cloud pictures. Changed colors and did lots of tweaks and used many different layers.

Re: Mass Effect: Normandy SR2
beautiful work Thor
I have a question, do you make all that panels on body or wings which can be seen (I mean these thinnest ones) by real grooves in surface, or are they only textures or color lines? |

Re: Mass Effect: Normandy SR2
All lines are modeled. I know its overkill, cos It can be done with textures, but I like to do it this way The dirt around the lines are textures though.
