Thanks all for the kind words.
I knew at the pace I was working that I'd have to abandon this project once I started on my next "real" project, and that time is here. I did learn a bit more by doing this model, which was the point of doing it, I only wish I'd gotten further into the texturing phase. I got the chest texturing almost done --- not exactly the way I'd wanted it yet, but getting there. Perhaps when my next project is done I'll revisit this fellow. He needs lots of texturing/surfacing, so it's likely he will actually get revisited and not discarded like most of my half-finished projects . Meanwhile, here's a render as he stands now. |

I'm not too fan of the cloudy blue texture on his chest, but it's just a matter of taste !
