Default extruding

Hello
(French to English translation DEEPL)
I used to work with sketchup Maker 2017 to make simple objects(Houses, airport building...) for x-Plane.
I just bought AC3D.
This software is relatively intuitive and you can quickly discover its operating philosophy.
But not practicing English, and DEEPL can not always suffice for the translation, there are one or 2 points or I am obliged to seek your help.

Thanks in advance
Simple question

in a roof triangle how,nt to go from this

to this

thank you
Please make it very simple for DEEPL to translate your answer.

Hello @Ypsos,

-----------------------------

- sélectionne la surface triangulaire

- commande : surface indent

--- distance indent : par ex. 0.3
--- bouton indent

- tu obtiens la bordure étroite

eventuellement déplacer les vertices

--- nouvelle distance indent : 0.0
--- bouton indent : (crées des nouveaux vertices)

- cette surface peut maintenant être déplacée vers l'intérieur

--- c'est-à-dire entrer auparavant la valeur de déplacement (votre axe desiré) dans move (xyz)

- commande : move

- terminé

------------------------------

- select triangular surface

- command: surface indent

--- indent distance: e.g. 0.3
--- indent button

- you get the narrow border

--- new indent distance: 0.0
--- indent button: (creates new vertices)

- this area can now be moved inwards

--- i.e. enter the move value (the desired axis) at move (xyz) first

- command: move

- ready

I got there by using the Extrude Numeric/Extrude by normal option on the left
(is this the correct procedure? because I did not find the "Move" function

As soon as you have more experience, you will find that there are often several ways to solve a problem.

Bonjour
Thanks

We will get there:

I just have to locate the menus that cause me language problems.

Lose reflexes of Sketchup Maker 2017 which I use for modeling objects for x-plane.

As a result, like any software migration, by reflex I am looking for the operating equivalent on AC3D and risk looking in the wrong place.

Cordially

Merci

On va y arriver:

il faut juste que je repère les menus qui me pose problème de langue.

Perdre les reflexe de Sketchup Maker 2017 que j'utilise pour la modélisation des objets pour x-plane.

Du coup comme toute migration de logiciel, par reflexe je recherche l'équivalent de fonctionnement sur AC3D et risque de chercher au mauvais endroit.

Cordialement
