In the 1960s Fairey designed and built a range of wooden-hulled speedboats and motor launches. The Huntress craft came as either a 28 foot or 31 foot vessle. These became well known in boating circles for their speed, stability and good rough-water handling. Craft were sold to both wealthy and famous individuals, including Deborah Kerr, Prince Albert of Belgium and Billy Butlin.
The also starred in the James Bond film From Russia with Love. Sean Connery as James Bond can be seen driving a white Fairey Huntress and the being chased by a Fairey Huntsman 28s and Fairey Huntress. That looks great. I've not seen that simulator before. It looks very comprehensive.
Are you exporting 3DS or .X from AC3D to use with the simulator? |

Hi Andy
I'm exporting as a .X file. If there are any parts to be animated, such as radar, weapons etc. these are created as separate X files then vehicle simulator (VSF) places them at the pre given XYZ and takes care of animation. |
