Default AC3D crashes when saving a file imported from Blender

Hello Support Team,

I just installed the trial version of AC3D to see if it fits my needs but although some parts are looking very promising, I also run into a real show-stopper with AC3D crashing when trying to save my work.

I am trying to import my own Blender models in a sim called 'Vehicle Simulator' (VSF).
As I have some issues exporting to DirectX .x files with Blender I want to use AC3D as intermediate step.

My workflow now is as follows:
1. Make model in Blender and save as .dae
2. Import .dae file in AC3D
3. Make small modifications like welding and renaming parts in accordance with SDK of VSF in AC3D
4. Save the modifications made in AC3D as .ac file (This step does NOT work)
5. Export as .x file to use in VSF.

If I make a quick model in AC3D from scratch and save as .ac everything works.
Importing a Blender model in .dae format and trying to save right away in AC3D as .ac also results in a crash after entering the desired file name.

@Andy - Would it be possible to send you a sample model in .dae format so that you can look into this issue???

Many thanks in advance! Hope to find a solution together with you guys...

Regards,
Sylvain
