ok guys here we see the underside of the left wing of my latest X-Plane venture. The A380-800 has quite complex, if elegant shapes under the wing, and whilst during the day i worry about whats going on inside the wings in real life, at night I am beginning to concentrate on adding detail to the visual model using ben supniks excellent plugin with ac3d 5.0
everything that isnt rusty red, excepting the engine pylons has come straight of x-plane, the engine pylons and the rusty red bits (flap track forward fairings) are of my own devising, am looking at adding a complete wing from ac3d, aswell as a full 3-d cockpit and some other bits and pieces possibly....... ![]() comments/questions welcome regards coanda |

Looking forward to seeing a pic of the whole plane.
The blue lines probably represent bad surfaces (1 or 2 vertex polygons) - remove these with Object->Optmize-Surfaces. Andy |
