Default Ungrouping a mesh?

Hi.
I am creating models with AC3D and exporting them as a .obg to use them into a game.
I need to create a rectangular surface divided into squares ( 100 x 100 f.e.) to use the same texture in each one of them.
I tried doing it with a 100x100 mesh, and inserting one texture on it, then setting it to repeat 100x100 times.

Then the problem comes:
I have on the screan exactly what I need, but when I export it to .obj, the texture coordinates are written as:
vt 0.02 0.98
vt 0.02 1
...
So, every mesh square is a little portion of the whole texture, which is set to be seen only once.
Obviously, when I import it in my game, the floor looks like an enormous tile, which is not what I pretended.
I also tried, then, to ungroup the mesh, so I can set the squares as individual objects, but it seems that it is not possible.
May any of the two things be any kind of bug? I mean, shoud it be an other way to do it, or maybe this is the way and it doesn't work when it should?

Thank you.
