Hello all
I mainly use Maxon Cinema 4d 18 for most of my modelling which I then export as an .obj to import to Ac3D for editing textures etc ready for X-Plane. Ac3D 8.0.80 did the job fine. 8.5.55 however just crashes to desktop when i try to import the same .obj. I do have a workaround by saving it as an .ac file and importing into the newer version, but it's a pain ![]() Ron |

I can see that the file has an object header line after the vertices and before the faces. (rather than before both vertices and faces) This is making the current OBJ importer try to generate an object with no vertices(!).
The fix for this is to switch off File->settings->files->Obj-import-as-multipl-objects. The obj importer will need modifying to cope with this situation so until then, it's best to switch off the above setting. |
