yay!
BTW: In the new version, can you implement CTRL as ortho move, even if I press the key too late (while draging) - I'm always forgetting to hold it before moving something ![]()

You can use 'lock move axis' at the bottom of the window for this. |

I see a lot of free space on the top right 8)
If only it could be filled with ... an insert vertrex button, a slice surface button ... all the little things I use a lot ![]() That would be very cool  Happy to see a new version anyway ! |

I love AC3D so far (and I'm a regular Max user at work) but one thing niggles a bit - if I hold down ALT and left mouse to rotate, sometimes when I release ALT and try to use the middle mouse to pan the camera it doesn't work - I have to click the right mouse or left-click somewhere on the screen to get the middle mouse to be recognized.
Any chance you could fix this? It could be because pressing ALT moves the window focus to the menus at the top, so perhaps the program is being affected by the way windows works. Perhaps allow me to define another key to hold down for rotation rather than ALT, for example use SPACE to rotate and put the window fullscreen option on W? |

Hi Jim,
We've not found a fix for this yet since the window system is grabbing the keypress. What you can do to stop this is to let go of the alt key before you let go of the mouse i.e. hold down alt, press a mouse button, release alt, keep moving the mouse then release the mouse. You can also use the right alt key instead - which will not try and select a menu item. Andy |

Just a suggestion
It would be very handy if the girds (Major) were numbered, a simple one, two three... would help a great deal, counting them out on the screen grows old fast. A turn on/off thingy or on and off display would be nice. |
