Some models
Hey all, been a while. Anyways, I'm working on making a game, and I'm the 3d modeler, and it takes place in the wild west. We started pretty recently, so I don't have many models, but here are a few, I will update this thread as I make more. Also keep in mind that the only renderer I have right now is pov-ray, and I understand 0 code, so my renders suck, including the sideways clouds, :S because I don't know a good renderer, so just concentrate on the models.
So...: AND FINALLY:

Re: Some models
Thanks Tbd. Also I am making this for a game, so one of my main concerns is keeping the poly count low. That last scene with the saloon is only at 1352 surfaces. Including those 3 chairs that are hard to see plus wagon saloon, etc. Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Re: Some models
Very nice indeed, i have two suggestions for you, no offence but the saloon sign looks a little out of place, dark red and times new roman, may i suggest something like this :-
its only 703 surfaces and 569 vertices so it wont eat your memory and i have the model so you can have it for nothing. ( i can email you) also, you might want to consider repeating your textures on the sides of the building, it appears its only been done, this can greatly imrove the appearence of models with 1 poly being added! I am an interactive media designer as well so i know all these little trick, if you like what i have said, feel free to message me with any questions! what do you think!

Re: Some models
Thanks for the idea of repeating the texture, I'll try that. As to the saloon sign, yes I know it looks bad, I was going to put something better up, but I just had it up so you knew what building it was.

Re: Some models
Thanks. It is going to be a sort of runescape/second life MMO that takes place in the wild west. Aka you can buy property and large traks of land but mine for gold, silver etc. Incase anyone is interested :P

Re: Some models
Well I know I have been gone for a couple of months, life, that sort of thing, but just yesterday I decided to get back into modeling, and whipped up a simple wild west style house.
