Default Diablo revisited

I decided to do some changes on this model. I wanted a more visible engine and some hatches the engines could be seen under. And I must say the custom axis option is pure gold. It was always a hasle to get the darn object to twist and turn as you wanted them , but this solves that problem just beautifully. Now I have made a more detailed engine and cut out some space and a hatch for it. So its a nice start. More to come

Thank you Lisa Now then. I'm more or less finished in the back with new greeble and have moved around a little bit. I redid the landing gear and did some tyres instead. I think I will go for a low orbit/atmo ship instead of a spaceship. Saves me a s***load of poly's as well. Also the skull in the front are gone. The detailing there is not carved in stone, so they will probably change.

Did some new greebles in the front and made some changes to the point where the big antennas are conected. This way I got the mesh more clean. Also I moved the landinggear in the back to get a more symetrical look on the airplain. Moved the bottom jet's as well, and added two more for more power. Its pretty heavy machinery you know. Did some cleaning up in the mesh there as well. Now I have to take a step back to look at it, and figure out whats next

As a new member to this forum I have only just found this model. A seriously impressive piece of modelling and a very functional looking design. AC3D is an extremely powerful piece of kit which I am having a ball using. Work like yours merely makes me want to work at it all the time. Excellent piece of work.
