Don't worry, you get there, I had to save a long time too, it is a better investment than a mobile phone and fastfood. If you realy want, you get it, but I am realist saving can look like long, but time is a funny thing, if you do nice things, time fies.

Good luck, and yes all ship related YouTubes I made where kind of movie rendered, after creating them in AC3D.

I one day hope they dare to implement bones and animation, that would be the greatest thing for AC3D to happen, and next would be an x file importer. I am no programmer, but if, I would have made it... just for the benevit of me LOL! nah, I am satisfied as I work now.. I got to say I work with Autodesk 3ds max on my student licence, but this program is in fact better, and I do my homework in AC3D, export it as 3ds and inport it in max, and than you can do nothing more than say, hey what a nice model. I think Autodesk is redicilously over payed for what it can.

I know more profesional artists and engineers that chose AC3D and sketchup over the VERY commercial brands.
They only cost more, not necassary do and can more.
I am aiming for b cad 3.9, and am waiting for my credit card, because there is no other way to order. It is obselete, but for €209.20 you have what Autodesk bought from the russians some time ago. I am sorry to say it, but the only thing Americans are realy good at is stealing and bidding the highest price. Sorry, that was off topic, but need to be said that there is still the equivalent of 3d max for cheap available in English.

Yeah
I'm trying to learn programming, but am really too young to start a career or take a class.
I spend most of my money on expensive airsoft guns so I know all about saving.
I'll start saving, and make some new projects, so check in for new pictures every once in awhile if your interested.
