AC3D Load Time

AC3D seems to take quite a while to load for me, i am talking ~2 minutes or so.

No issues with other programs, and the system has lots of free resources.

Any ideas what it could be?

Some more info about this;

I'm using Win7 Pro 64, on a Quad core CPU @3200MHz, 8Gb ram and GTX280.
WinDefender turned off, and I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials AV.

On Win XP the app used to load instantly, and i think it was the same for Vista.

I have tried a few things, running as admin, and making sure DEP was disabled. Nothing seem to make a difference to the load time.

Could i ask other Win7 Pro 64 users to post their AC3D load times please?

This isn't a huge problem, but its quite annoying having to wait for something to load and I'd like to fix it.

So no-one else has this load time problem, and no-one has any ideas to fix it?

I have noticed that there is a LOT of disk activity whilst AC3D loads, but none of it called by ac3d.exe (as viewed in resource monitor)

Any suggestions to speed things up would be useful, and please say if more info is required.
