Glass Room
I have started using AC3D's abilitiy to intergrate with Pov-Ray allowing me to start adding photons to my art. So this is a link to all my works www.teampki.com/~cyris69/renders/
To find the glass room scoll to the bottom of the page under sections/photons click glass room link and well enjoy. Please respond and tell me your thoughts. This is just the images I have uploaded i have quite a few more.

Hi cyris --- looks nice! I'd try adding a color background too --- the reflections/etc might look better.
You may also want to convert your bmp's to jpg's or something before uploading them to your server --- the bmp's are just enormous and will eat up your bandwidth quickly. If you really want a lossless compression, try using the png format. The standard Paint that comes with XP does these formats and a couple more. Good luck |

Thanks.
Well I'm lazy lol, Yeah i will be changing the images to a smaller format but I just wanted to get them online for now. Thanks for your quick response and comments.
BTW what do you meen by background? Like ne the box walls or background objects? Finnally I have started to get the hang of AC3D, I'm really enjoying creating smooth edges and rounded off sides lol Which comes in handy when creating hi-end stuff. Well thx again. Oh and keep look back to check out dome new works

Hmmmm
Well if there is anyone out there that has more experience with glass and photon usage in povray could you give me some insight about my work.
Am I doing it right? Or if you have some useful code i can add to the objects to get a more realistic glass effect (life-like). I will post back tonight with the code i use to add glass and my header.inc file. Also I heard the more photons you use the better so I use a crap load (about 5000000). Render time varies from 1hr-7hrs.
